Black Tea: 2-4 minutes
Green Tea: 1-3 minutes
Oolong Tea: 1-5 minutes

This distinctive shape of its tightly rolled leaves accounts for the origins of its name gunpowder. Shiny pellets indicate that the tea is relatively fresh. Pellet size is also associated with quality, larger pellets being considered a mark of lower quality tea. High quality gunpowder tea will have small, tightly rolled pellets. Typically used for Moroccan Mint Green Tea.
